News: Closure of Ulster Bank and KBC accounts

Many of our customers with accounts in the above banks have already taken action and provided the NSSO with their new bank details. We would like to remind those who continue to receive payment from us to Ulster Bank or KBC accounts to make the change to a new provider and update their new bank details with us as soon as possible. Early changeover will avoid any delay and ensure continuity of payment. NSSO customers can update their bank details through their core portal account.
Where employees have an account on the system for Payroll and Expenses, each account needs to be updated – click here and select the following guides:

Customers are advised where possible, not to close their old account until a payment is received in their new account.
Where the change of bank details facility is not available to you on the core portal the relevant application form will be sent to you to complete and return to the NSSO.

The following link to the Competition and Consumer Commission website contains guidance on how to move accounts as well as a tool to compare different accounts available: https://www.ccpc.ie/consumers/move/
