The Central Mobility Team in NSSO administers civil service mobility. If you have any further questions, you can send them to NSSO through the case management system. The Central Mobility Team can take certain actions on request of a mobility applicant or their HR; these include the following:
Replicating self-service actions on behalf of officers without access to the system
This includes making an application, placing an application on employee hold, removing an employee hold, confirming interest, cancelling an application, and accepting or declining an offer of mobility.
Manually amend eligibility criteria on existing applications
In certain cases, an applicant may ask to change their eligibility status, but this change usually requires an instruction from Local HR.
Reinstate application with original details
In the case that an application for mobility should be reinstated according to the policy, the CMT will do this. An example of where this may arise includes where an applicant has reverted to the grade their original application was made in (within a year of the change).
Verify the legacy date on an application
CO and EO mobility applicants who applied on the system in the first 60 workings days of the scheme (between 13/11/2017 and 08/02/2018) had the option to include their date of application to a previously existing transfer mechanism (CAF, Central Transfer List, and Internal Transfer List).
AO & HEO Mobility applicants who apply on the system in the first 40 workings days of the scheme (between 18/01/2021 and 12/03/2021) have the option to include their date of application to a previously existing transfer mechanism (CAF, Central Transfer List, and Internal Transfer List).
This date requires verification before the application can be transacted on the system. All legacy dates for AO and HEO applicants have been verified in 2021.
